About Us

Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays, a close 2nd to Halloween. When I was little, Christmas music would start playing on my boombox in July. When you're little, Christmas is about Santa and the presents. As you get older (and maybe a little wiser) you realize that Christmas is about so much more. Gathering with family, spending times with friends, teaching little ones how to make the family Christmas Cookies, and of course sharing the good news about our Savior's birth. This year, I hope you choose Holiday Simplicity to sprinkle some Christmas magic around your home, especially on your Christmas Trees.

I am Raechel Pankey, the owner of Holiday Simplicity, where we make your holidays simple. I've lived in Clayton, NC for over 20 years but am originally from Michigan. My husband, Andrew, and I have been married for 6 years and have a three year old little girl, Raegan. We enjoy playing outside, going on adventures, and taking family walks with our dog, Gracie. During the day, I am a PreK teacher, and at night I'm a wife, mother, and holiday decorator. This holiday season, I hope you'll choose me to bring some extra holiday magic to your home.
